Yifan Cheng awarded prestigious fellowship by the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI)

Dr. Yifan Cheng has recently been awarded a prestigious fellowship by the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) of the US Department of Agriculture. The project aims to develop enzymatic membrane reactors using the iCVD technique to valorize food processing waste streams that are outside the “comfort zones” of regular enzymes. Cheng is a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Rong Yang's lab in the Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.
