Lin Ma of the Acher Group, was recently awarded the MRS Gold Graduate Student Award

The MRS Graduate Student Awards are intended to honor and encourage graduate students whose academic achievements and current materials research display a high order of excellence and distinction

Lin Ma, Graduate Student of the Acher Group, was recently awarded the MRS Gold Graduate Student Award for a presentation on Stable Artificial Solid Electrolyte Interfaces For Lithium Batteries at the 2016 MRS Fall Meeting in Boston.

The MRS Graduate Student Awards are intended to honor and encourage graduate students whose academic achievements and current materials research display a high order of excellence and distinction. MRS seeks to recognize students of exceptional ability who show promise for future substantial achievement in materials research. Emphasis is placed on the quality of the student and his/her research ability.  

Lin’s achievement of the MRS Graduate Student Award is a direct reflection on the outstanding education provided by Lynden Archer and Cornell University.
