The WOMEN Event was honored with the Engineering Initiative Award from the Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN), recognizing it as an exemplary project that can serve as a model for other institutions trying to increase the number of women in engineering.
Lakshmi Nathan, Ty Moeller, and Jess Akemi Cimada da Silva attended the WEPAN Change Leader Forum and accepted the award on behalf of CBE Women. The conference was a great networking opportunity and a chance to share the group's work on a national stage.
