Alan S. Feitelberg spent 22 years as a chemical engineer in industry, serving as both an individual contributor and engineering manager. His research, process development, and product development activities have ranged from gas turbine combustion, pollution prevention, and time-dependent modeling of chemical reactors to second-generation biofuel production and the design of fuel cell systems. He is listed as an inventor on 9 US patents and has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and technical publications. While working full time in industry, for many years Alan also found the time to develop and teach evening classes at RPI and Union Graduate College.
