Professor Alex Woltornist was named Director of the Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) program in the Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) effective immediately. Director Susan Daniel sent the following message on August 13, 2021:
Dear Students,
It is my pleasure today to write you to report that Professor Alex Woltornist will become the next MEng Director. Alex takes this role over from Professor Jeff Varner who has selflessly led the MEng program, the Grad program, and ABET certification last year. Alex and Jeff will work together during this transition period to ensure a smooth change in leadership. Alex has great ideas for the program and looks forward to working with you to define your career goals and ensure that your time at Cornell is a strong success!
