Prof. Susan Daniel and Ph.D. candidate, Aravind Natarajan were featured speakers at the Ithaca March for Science

Prof. Daniel spoke about her own experiences as a student and faculty member in engineering, and the opportunities that STEM training opened for her.

On Saturday, April 22, Prof. Susan Daniel and Ph.D. candidate, Aravind Natarajan (Dept. of Microbiology and DeLisa Lab) were featured speakers at the Ithaca March for Science in on the Ithaca Commons. 

Prof. Daniel spoke about her own experiences as a student and faculty member in engineering, and the opportunities that STEM training opened for her. She also highlighted the outreach activities that she and graduate students of the Smith School have led that expose young women to career paths in engineering.
