Through a division-wide voting, Prof. Fengqi You has been elected a director of the Environmental Division (ENV) of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). The ENV Division engages in all aspects of educational, research and development activities to further the application of chemical engineering in the environmental field. It provides programs on environmental topics of current interest at the AIChE national meetings; promoting technical communication of environmental chemical engineering activities (e.g. through its journal, Environmental Progress and Sustainable Energy), and coordinating AIChE’s activities with other societies active in the environmental field.
