Jovana Andrejevic (Clancy group) wins GlobalFoundries/SRCEA Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Cornell student, Jovana Andrejevic, AEP '16, has been awarded a GlobalFoundries/SRCEA (Semiconductor Research Corporation Education Alliance) student scholarship that "recognizes and rewards aspiring and leadership-oriented engineers interested in the semiconductor industry. This exciting scholarship is for students who demonstrate solid ambition and promise in their academic and professional efforts."
In addition to a financial scholarship prize, Jovana will receive an all-expenses paid trip to TECHCON in Fall 2015. Jovana was rewarded for her academic performance, service as a volunteer TA, and her innovative research in computational method development. She has developed models that capture the nucleation and growth of non-traditional materials of interest to the semiconductor field, including colloidal lead chalcogenides and perovskites. Her work in the research group of Paulette Clancy for the past year has been mentored by PhD candidate, James Stevenson. This is being prepared for publication this summer. Jovana will be first-author on this publication.
