Susan Daniel wins the 2012 Denice Denton Emerging Leader award from the Anita Borg Institute
Assistant Professor Susan Daniel wins the 2012 Denice Denton Emerging Leader award from the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology.
Recipients of this award are untenured faculty under 40, conducting high-quality research, demonstrating leadership and promoting diversity.
Susan is the first winner from a Chemical Engineering department since the award began in 2007.
She will receive the award at the 2012 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in Baltimore in October.
