Frank Lomax, Ph.D., P.E. is the Managing Partner of Headwaters Solutions LLC, an engineering firm focused on process industry and cleantech projects. 

Frank has over 20 years of industry experience, and has led the execution of more than 35 commercial process plants, the development and launch of 5 different process plant product lines as well as multiple equipment product lines for hydrogen transportation and dispensing.

Frank’s technical focus is on production of synthesis gas and derivative chemicals, adsorption and membrane purification of gases, hydrogen transportation and use, plant design & construction and formal process safety analysis.  Frank is an inventor on 41 issued U.S. patents and their international equivalents.

Frank is a licensed professional engineer in multiple U.S. jurisdictions. Frank graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with his B.S.E. in 1995 and earned M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Tech.
