WOMEN Outreach Event

Last month, for the first time since the pandemic, the Smith School was thrilled to be able to host an in-person WOMEN (Women's Outreach in Materials, Energy, and Nanobiotechnology) event! The WOMEN outreach program provides a unique and exciting opportunity for 10th grade girls to learn about science and engineering careers. The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) announces that Professor Fengqi You in Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University is the recipient of the prestigious 2022 Stratis V. Fengqi You, the Roxanne E. and Michael J. Zak Professor in Energy Systems Engineering in the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, was selected by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Executive Committee award selection panel to receive the 2022 AIChE George Lappin Program Committee Service Award. Dr. Kaitlin Mallouk, assistant professor in the Experiential Engineering Education Department (ExEEd) in the Henry M.
