Mardochee Reveil's work on post-silicon materials (Clancy group) featured on Cornell's Research site
Ph.D. candidate Mardochee Reveil in Paulette Clancy's research group is working on new algorithms to improve the design of materials that will be important in the post-silicon era.
His work on dopant diffusion in InGaAs, with its attractive properties of higher mobility and better heat dissipation, attacks the problem of poor dopant activation that currently limits its commercial implementation. His work helps accelerate experimental investigations into this problem undertaken by Victoria Sorg, a Clancy group member working in Professor Michael Thompson's lab at Cornell.
