DeLisa lab's glycosylation research featured in GEN
The DeLisa lab's protein glycosylation research was featured in the March 15 issue of Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN; www.genengnews.com). One of the issue's feature articles entitled "Cultivating the Glycome to Improve Therapeutics" discusses how bioengineers are tinkering with glycoprotein reaction networks, expression systems, and growth conditions to create entirely new glycomic applications. The article specifically highlights work in the DeLisa lab focused on engineering designer glycosylation systems in laboratory strains of E. coli. DeLisa and previous group member Jack Huang are depicted on the cover of the same issue.
