Philip Berard, ChemE '14, has been selected as a 2013-14 Frank and Rosa Rhodes Scholarship recipient as well as the Ferdinand Rodriguez Outstanding Student '14

Philip Berard (ChemE '14) is a senior dual-major of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Computer Science. As an undergrad, Philip has worked in the Clancy lab for over two years. Philip's contributions are great and he is on track to be listed as co-author of least two, possibly three, full-length research papers.

The Frank and Rosa Rhodes scholarship was established in 1994 to honor President Emeritus Frank Rhodes and wife and Rosa. Recipients are named by their college's dean.

Also, Philip has been selected as the Ferdinand Rodriguez Outstanding Student Award in Polymers and Electronic Materials.

This award was developed to honor Professor Rodriguez and recognize outstanding achievements in academics and in the professional community. Sponsored by the Xerox Foundation.
