CBE Professor, Jeff Tester receives the Special Achievement Award from the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC).
CBE Professor and David Croll Chair, Jeff Tester received the Special Achievement Award from the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) at their 35th Annual Meeting in San Diego.
GRC is the largest professional organization dealing with geothermal energy in the world. It also serves as the professional education association for the international geothermal community.
The GRC Special Achievement Award recognizes Jeff's “outstanding contributions to the development of geothermal resources”, over more than three decades. The award citation notes Jeff Tester's pioneering work on many aspects of Enhanced/Engineered Geothermal systems, including thermal energy conversion and utilization, tracer methods for characterizing reservoir thermal hydraulic behavior, and geothermal systems analysis.
