My wife, Gloria, and I live on 180 acres of woodland adjacent to Shindagin Hollow State Forest where we enjoy running the dirt roads through the forest, bicycling and swimming in our pond.

In the summer when the 4 square miles of state forest seems to small we take off for backpacking (link to BACKPACKING section) trips.

My father-in-law, Leo Bach, grew up in Krakow, Poland and was incarcerated during his teenage years in a series of Nazi forced labor and death camps. He has written a memoir of his experiences during the Holocaust.
