Matthew DeLisa awarded the first Daniel I. C. Wang award for bioengineering

Assistant Professor Matthew DeLisa has been named as the 2008 and inaugural winner of the Daniel I.C. Wang Award sponsored by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and by the journal "Biotechnology & Bioengineering." This award honors an accomplished younger member of the bioengineering academic community for commitment to the Journal and the community it serves. The award will be presented immediately before the Gaden Award Lecture at a BIOT Division session of the 2008 Annual ACS Meeting to be held in Philadelphia, August 17-21, 2008.
