Jeff Tester, Cornell's first Croll professor, will speak on campus March 28-29 on sustainable energy.

Jefferson W. Tester '66, M.S. '67, will hold the first Croll Professorship of Sustainable Energy Systems in the College of Engineering, pending approval by the Cornell Board of Trustees. As the Croll professor, Tester is expected to play a leadership role in the Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future (CCSF), which is bringing together experts in education and research from across campus to work toward common sustainability goals. Professor Tester will join the faculty of the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in Fall 2008 from MIT where he is currently the H. P.
