Eric L. First (’09) awarded the 2008 Rohm & Haas / Rodriguez Outstanding Student Award
April 24, 2008Eric L. First, a junior Cornell undergraduate majoring in both Chemical Engineering and Computer Science, has been awarded the 2008 Rohm & Haas / Rodriguez Outstanding Student Award in Polymers and Electronic Materials for sustained excellence in research. Eric has used atomistic computer simulation techniques to investigate barriers to layer-by-layer growth in organic semiconductor materials. A publication based on his results will be forthcoming.
