Peter Harriott and Julian Smith win 2008 AIChE Warren K. Lewis Award
August 7, 2008Emeritus professors Peter Harriott and Julian Smith have been named as the 2008 recipients of the AIChE Warren K. Lewis award for outstanding and continued excellence in the area of chemical engineering education. This is richly deserved, given the success of their classic text "Unit operations in Chemical Engineering" which has been published continuously for the past 52 years.
